When financial budget cuts by the state of Pennsylvania threatened to cancel the 2009 Christmas Crossing event, forcing the park towards imminent closure, the Friends of Washington Crossing Park (FWCP) was formed to raise funds to prevent the loss of a historical landmark. FWCP understands the importance of the park as both a national treasure and as a source of great regional pride. As a result, the Washington Crossing Brewfest a beer event with high quality drafts was created to raise capital with the sole purpose of defraying some of the operating costs so the park can be enjoyed for generations to come. The Washington Crossing Brewfest is scheduled for May 11, 2013 from 12:30pm-4:30pm featuring over 50 of the country’s best breweries and tremendous support from many regional breweries. A better location for a brewfest than along the Delaware River in a pastoral wooded landscape would be difficult to envision!
The event is for the park and your sponsorship is considered a charitable donation through 501(c)(3) (your donation can be made out to the Friends of Washington Crossing Park).
Overall Event Sponsor - $5,000 Donation
Name on all printed material and advertising, logo and name on all shirts sold, and banner signage on large Durham Boat which is right next to the main gate.
Glassware Sponsor - $3,000 Donation
Company name and logo printed on all tasting mugs handed out to each patron. Our guests keep these imprinted glasses as a memory of the event.
Stage Sponsor - $1,500 Donation
Large banner above band. The band is on a 24 foot stage, in a 30 foot open tent (bandshell style), in the very center of the whole event. This banner is very visible to all patrons during the entire Brewfest.
Front Gate Sponsor - $500 Donation
Large banners set up near front gate, this is where the line forms in advance, and all patrons must enter this way.
Port-A-John Sponsor - $950 Donation
Large banner at very center of the Port-A-John area. This banner is very visible to all patrons using the facilities, which at a Brewfest is a lot!!
Site Map Beer Directory Sponsor - $500/panel Donation
Three panels available for your company name and logo.
The brewfest will be held rain or shine. Tickets are required for all attendees. If it rains, tents will be provided.
PLEASE NOTE: No one under 21 will be admitted. Everyone must have valid ID. No children, no babies, no pets, no chairs and no firearms.
