Where is Washington Crossing?
Washington Crossing is in Bucks County, PA. It is approximately 25 miles northeast of Philadelphia and 10 miles northwest of Trenton, NJ. For exact location and directions click here.

Where is the Washington Crossing Brewfest held?
The brewfest is in beautiful Washington Crossing Historic Park. From this site, General George Washington and his troops crossed the Delaware River on Christmas night 1776 and marched to Trenton, NJ, where they attacked and defeated Hessian troops quartered there. The brewfest is located right next to the Delaware River in a shaded, wooded landscape. It is in the upper part of the park behind the historic Thompson Neely House.

What do I get with my ticket?
You will receive a 2 oz. commemorative mug for sampling the beer from regional and national brewers. There will also be great live music.

What do I do if I lose my cup?
You will need to contact a staff member to purchase a new one for $5.

Can I re-enter the brewfest once I’ve left?
No, once you have left the grounds you may not re-enter. There are bathrooms, water and food available on the grounds.

Do I need a valid ID even if I am obviously over 21?
Yes, due to Pennsylvania law EVERYONE that enters the festival must present a valid ID. We will check all IDs at the gate.

Can I buy beer at the brewfest?
The brewfest is a sampling event. Participants will receive 2 oz. pours of many different kinds of beers. Selling beer at the brewfest is prohibited by Pennsylvania law. However, there are many local restaurants that have a wide selection of beer.

How do I become a volunteer for the brewfest?
Volunteers are needed. All applicants must be 21 or older to participate in the actual brewfest (from 12:30 – 4:30). Volunteers under 21 may participate in the set up and break down of the event. Volunteers are not permitted to consume any alcoholic beverage before or during their shift. To become a volunteer, please e-mail info@washingtoncrossingbrewfest.com your name, phone number and address as soon as possible. We will be in touch with more information.

If I am a brewery, how to I get involved?
Breweries interested in participating in the brewfest may contact John Godzieba or Glenn Blakely at info@washingtoncrossingbrewfest.com.

Who does the brewfest benefit?
Proceeds from the brewfest benefit the non-profit Friends of Washington Crossing Park. Its mission is to support and promote the park as a historic site; raise funds to operate the park and its facilities; offer educational programs, reenactments and other special events; promote the American Revolution as part of our national heritage; and provide volunteer opportunities.

The brewfest will be held rain or shine. Tickets are required for all attendees. If it rains, tents will be provided.
